I don't think there's a really a full consensus on the "better" game so it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot if on sale. Old Blood is very much in the same spirit, though its beginning is pretty blehhhh. Like a very satisfying mix of modern FPS conventions with a bit more movement and less stop-and-pop. It's an annual playthrough with me and I find the gunplay pretty unique and visceral enough to keep me happy throughout the ~10 hour playthrough. This is Part 1 (Forest Compound) of Mission 3 of Return to Castle Wolfenstein titled 'Weapons of Vengeance'. Maintains complete sincerity throughout all the absurd elements with some fantastic characters. The New Order is still probably my favorite narrative in a linear FPS. ![]() RtcW is fantastic and arguably an essential early 2000s FPS.
